For a few years now I have had an AccuRite personal weather station setup on my patio. The base station had the ability to upload the data via a USB connection to a dedicated laptop, that was always running. The laptop had been replaced a couple of times, until I gave up on the idea of uploading my data to sites like Weather Underground.
Recently, I had been getting the bug to update my weather station to one that would be able to upload it’s data without connecting via a computer. After doing a little research in my price point I decided on the WS-2902C by Ambient Weather.
As you can see from the pictures below, it is all setup and running and pushing data to Weather Underground.
It is currently mounted on a eight foot wood pole. The next step is to stain and seal the pole.
